AN INVITATION TO MOVEMENT

COVID-19 RESPONSE

You are in my thoughts as we navigate troubling, uncertain times in the face of the coronavirus pandemic. Although we cannot be together physically, we are united in our strength and courage, and in our determination to overcome.
I have created this safe place- a place of hope- where we can share life-giving resources that will offer peace and comfort, like a warm nourishing soup.

It is my hope that these resources will help shift our focus from feeling stressed and overwhelmed, to being empowered to cope courageously in challenging times. And to look beyond ourselves, to open our hearts to others in need.

Please feel free to share these with your friends and family and let me know if you would like to receive access to more.

“HeArts for Hope, Arts for All” was launched as a digital artistic response to promote a bond of hope and solidarity between our local and global community affected by the pandemic. Participants of all ages and all walks of life are invited to share their artwork, writing, music, dance, and drama, to create meaning, inspire hope, find relief, and spark joy. We have received artistic creations from all over the US- Houston, Georgia, North Carolina, Oregon, and New York, and the world including France, Italy, Spain, South Africa, and Venezuela!

The initiative involves the community-at-large and includes weekly emails to support medical teams, isolated elders, first responders, hospitalized patients, and the military.

Please share the news for this initiative with your team and your network, encouraging them to join with us in sharing peace, and hope despite physical distancing barriers. Click this link to experience one and learn more about the steps to participate!
